Our family has a passion for making a difference that spans multiple generations. We know from experience that if we roll up our sleeves and make a commitment to our communities, we can make real, positive change that has the ability to greatly improve the lives of those around us.

We primarily work with groups dedicated to making a difference with at-risk primary and secondary school students and their families in Central Indiana. Applicants should be a 501 (c)(3) organization.

While we do provide monetary aid through grants and hold our recipients accountable, we also work alongside these organizations to actively participate in the cause.

The Arthur Dean Family has roots in Indiana and is focused on making a difference here at home. The Foundation is currently interested in helping Central Indiana youth and their families – although we may expand our reach in the future.

There are no requirements when it comes to the size of organizations we work with. While we have a special place in our hearts for small organizations who are passionate about a specific goal, we value community impact over the size of the organization.

Our concentration is youth but we believe it’s important to help the entire family. Educational resources are important but that doesn’t necessarily mean post-secondary certificates or degrees. College is not for everyone and we support organizations that provide educational and career guidance of various types to youth with varying talents and abilities.
